SATIR has a number of Handheld Thermal Imaging Cameras that cover a wide range of budgets, depending on the amount of detail needed for a Handheld thermal imaging survey. Handheld thermal imaging cameras are becoming increasingly popular among in the construction industry. This is due to a number of reasons such as awareness of the technology and the benefits of using such technology, checking the quality of construction, Periodic inspection of machinery. There are a wide range of Handheld thermal imaging cameras available and SATIR is a leading provider of thermal imaging cameras for the past 13 years. They provide an excellent technical support team and offer 2 years product warranty. The best IR resolution of a building thermal imaging camera is 384x288 and currently SATIR have 3 models which feature this resolution. They are the i-384,D300 and the Hotfind-S.
The correct conditions are required to conduct the survey, but the results are very effective.
A. Benefits of Handheld thermal imaging cameras
Preventative maintenance: Thermal imaging Cameras are ideal for perennial works or machinery old that are protective solution. Often machinery old will need to be repaired. Thermal imaging cameras are ideal for carrying out preventative maintenance to ensure any issues are detected on a routine basis and therefore keeping costs to a minimum as it ensures any issues are identified before issues become larger and more difficult to maintain.
Non-Destructive: Thermal Imaging cameras are able to see problems not visible to the human eye and using the skill of the thermographe, they are able to locate areas of concern without costly destructive methods
Time Management: Thermal imaging cameras are both ideal for preventive maintenance and non destructive testing which both save the facility and end client time and of course money
B. Featured Products
1. D160 Pro | Entry Level Thermal Camera
The Satir D160 Pro IR camera is an entry level thermal camera. This model is based on the D160-F that was a camera that became popular during the beginning of the Covid-19 Pandemic. End-Users liked the easy-to-use interface and lightweight, one-handed operation. Following on from this feedback we developed an industrial model to meet growing demands for a user-friendly entry level thermal camera that can be used in surveys for facilities management companies, used by maintenance engineers and tradespeople such as plumbers and electricians.

The T-256 is the first new product of SATIR's thermal imagers & cameras of 2022. It has been developed in a response to end-users wanting a better image of the Entry Level cameras such as the D160 Pro but don't have the budget for mid-level thermal imager such as the Hotfind-S or D300. The T-256 is the perfect model in between entry and mid-level thermal imagers and a very affordable camera model. The T-256 has a 256x192 IR Detector which delivers 49,152 pixels to the end-user's screen this is 29,952 pixels more than the D160 Pro. The T-256 has an Android Platform which makes it compatible with a range of Play Store Apps such as Gmail for emailing images. It has Wifi and bluetooth compatibility which allows easy transferring of images and video to other devices such as an tablet or phone. It has a good battery life of up to 5 hours which would be ideal for carrying out 2-3 building survey's a day. It can be charged quickly and easily with a USB-C charging cable. It is suitable for Industrial applications such as mechanical, plumbing and electrical.
3. SATIR Hotfind-S | Industrial Advance Level Thermal Imaging
The SATIR Hotfind-S is SATIR oldest model of building thermal imaging cameras It has been a favour thermal imaging camera from those who work in the building industry to those who work in the energy industry. We have many repeat orders of this camera over the years as it is a much loved thermal imaging camera. To learn more visit the Hotfind-S Product Page .
4. i-384 / i-Series | Thermal Camera with App

It also comes with an Android App which allows a the surveyor to going into enclosed areas such as a attic while the person on the landing can view on the App what the thermal camera is scanning. To learn more visit the I-Series product page.
5. i-640 | Performance Level Thermal Imaging
The i-640 is a handheld thermal camera, which come with a Android App, meaning a second person nearby can see what is being surveyed by the person operating the thermal camera. This can be useful if the area being scanned is a small space such as ceiling panels or areas which are restricted to one person. The i-series cameras have a fixed screen which replaces our regular flip screen design of cameras, offering the end user a different type of camera display. There are 4 imaging modes and 8 colour palettes allowing the end-user to select the modes most suitable to their surveys. The temperature measurement range is -20°C ~ + 650°C with accuracy of ±2°C or ± 2% of readings. It comes with a rechargeable battery that can be charged using a USB-C which allows for fast charging. The i-640 is a very versatile range of handheld thermal cameras that be used in a wide range of applications from mechanical to electrical & power surveying. To learn more visit the I-Series product page.
6. D300 – SATIR Most Innovative Thermal Imaging Camera
The SATIR D300 is part of the D-Series another range of cameras ideal as a building thermal imaging camera. The D300 has a reversible flip screen which is different from the i-384 fixed screen which may suit some end-users better. It has a motorised lens To learn more visit the D300 Product Page .
