On July 24, VTECH Electrical Technology Co., Ltd. successfully organized an in-depth technical seminar introducing advanced technological solutions for monitoring and maintaining electrical equipment in the Industry 4.0 era. The event took place at QTSC Building 1, Quang Trung Software City, Trung My Tay Ward, Ho Chi Minh City.
The seminar opened with a keynote by Mr. Korbkit Saduakkarn, an expert from Kumwell – Thailand, who provided an comprehensive of smart lightning and grounding solutions. His presentation covered intelligent lightning protection & grounding systems, lightning warning and monitoring platforms, smart surge protection device (SPD) monitoring systems, and integrated lightning management solutions.
Following this, Mr. George Lim, specialist from Power Technologies – Singapore, introduced wireless sensor–based temperature and partial discharge (PD) monitoring systems, designed for smart maintenance in the Industry 4.0 landscape.
With over 20 years of experience in testing, diagnostics, condition-based maintenance (CBM), and online PD monitoring for transformers, GIS, switchgear, generators, etc., as well as in substation operation management and relay protection systems, VTECH’s experts were ready to share practical insights into addressing complex technical challenges. They also engaged in direct Q&A sessions with participants to tackle real-world application issues.
In addition, VTECH showcased a wide range of demonstration equipment and sample products applied in the power sector and industrial plants, including thermal imaging cameras, gas detection cameras, online PD monitoring devices, and more. Among these, the thermal and PD monitoring systems drew significant attention from attendees.
Through these initiatives, VTECH is steadily positioning itself as a leading provider of foundational technologies and innovative solutions for diverse industries and applications.
The seminar attracted a strong turnout of participants, including executives from power plants, transmission companies, EVN units, data centers, industrial corporations, investors, and manufacturing facilities.
